Coach Guenther=Ca$h Money $killz

So Saint Guenther accepts $300K to play Western Michigan in freaking Detroit, with MAC officials jobbing Illinois and costing Illinois a bowl game and more money.

Now he is paying Northern Illinois $650K to play in Champaign in 2010. Hey Ron, doesn't that mean you are LOSING money? Doesn't that go against the "Family Dollar" approach of the UI athletic department? When will UI have 7 home games? Ron, YOU IDIOT!

FRG - Compare the Illinois scheduling to Northwestern's:

In 2009, NU has 7 home games and 4 away games (just what you've been clamoring for all this time). That schedule was already set up by former AD Mark Murphy.

In 2010, NU has 6 home and 6 away games. (Does that sound familiar?) Nice job by Jim Phillips.

In 2011, Phillips has so far scheduled 5 home and 6 away games. Can you say BOGGLE? And this is the guy you want to replace Guenther??? Where's your logic? Are you mad? Or just insane? Maybe you've been drinking too much Blago-juice.
BOGGLE? BOGGLE?? BOGGLE???!!!!!

Contrary to a popular East Central Illinois myth, I have NEVER suggested Jim Phillips succeed Saint Guenther. The only person I want to succeed that dope is me.

A popular East Central Illinois myth? I have never heard or read that anywhere in East Central Illinois. If so popular, who else has said that?

The popular sentiment in East Central Illinois is that Ron Guenther is a terrific AD. As this blog routinely points out, that is simply irrational.

The only thing that this blog routinely points out is, that frg is a fool. Though we're close to drawing the conclusion that you are one, as well.
