I am not from East Central Illinois, so I am a realist and not a brownnoser of the DIA. I am tired of bad Illinois football and I demand change. Change starts at the top. Ron Guenther must go.

If Illinois loses to Fresno State, they go to a crappy bowl game against a crappy team they might actually beat.
If Illinois beats Fresno State, they go a better but still crappy bowl game against a better team who has a better chance of beating them.
Which are you rooting for, FRG?
Sadly, it has gotten to the point where I am forced to root against Illinois because the illusion of success like the 2001 sugar bowl and 2007 rose bowl set Illinois back many years.
Hey Anonymous at 11:28 am, if you meant the 2002 Sugar Bowl and the 2008 Rose Bowl, then you also forgot to mention the illusion of success like the 1982 Liberty Bowl, the 1984 Rose Bowl, the 1985 Peach Bowl, the 1998 All-American Bowl, the 1991 Hall of Fame Bowl, the 1991 John Hancock Bowl, and the 1992 Holiday Bowl.
If you want reality of success, you need to look all the way back to the 1940s, '50s, and '60s.
