Loren Tate is a fool. He spent 2/3 of that column saying how the Big 10 will be bad in men's basketball next season.
Then he spends the rest of the article saying if things work out and Illinois gets lucky, the Fighting Illini may finish .500!
and yet he defends Weber!
From a Chicago Tribune story yesterday about the freshman
"It would've been nicer to have a little quicker progress with both of those guys," Weber said last week.
Good to see our mid-major coach backing the bus off the seniors so he has room to throw the freshman under it.
