Boosters Speak! Meantime, Guenther Wants A Contract Extension????
A big thumps up to these boosters who said what the vast majority of Illini Nation (a certain fan in Hudson, Ohio excepted) is thinking: Ron Guenther stinks!

If a CEO ran a company into the ground, would the bankruptcy trustee let the CEO keep his job?
I don't think so! But Coach Guenther, with an ego the size of Brazil, thinks he deserves a contract extension? How many athletic directors get to hire three football coaches after firing two of his very own hires? BOGGLE!

18 years is too long - he has to go. Time to look at bringing in proven A.D. Boise State wins because Bleymaier is a winner. Or look at Jim Phillips (Northwestern) he brings everything winning programs, money and great branding. Ikenberry - Please, Please make a change and don't resign RG - he needs to go to make room for winners.
Guenther has some pretty big balls to ask for an extension so he can screw up the football team for a fourth time.
