Folks, that was a choke job typical of the Bubble Bruce era! Up by 12 points with eight minutes left, that hack Brian Barnhart declares that Michigan is on the ropes. Illinois scores four points over the remaining eight minutes to lose the game!
It's bad enough Bruce All Mid-Major plays not to lose all the time. This game, against a smaller team, the Illini kept shooting threes instead of trying to work the ball inside.
This team doesn't deserve a NCAA bid. Heck, it doesn't deserve an NIT bid!

What a joke of a game. The sad thing is most of the people in Legends on campus weren't all that surprised at the loss -- despite the double-digit lead. Thanks for lowering our expectations to manageable levels, Bruce!
Amen brother. Too bad Weber won't get touched. Don't worry these world beating recruits are coming in!! Weber will suddenly learn how to coach so watch out!
Beilein got whiplash from BAMM and Milhouse in the handshake line, they were just a blur on the screen.
BAMM had to get the bus fired up so he could run over the team with it.
