Finally! A Media Member Questions Weber

Ok, it is rather mild, but it is a start. Good to see someone has noticed that the fans are questionsing our mid-major coach and are not just a bunch of "internet nuts."

Meantime, the attendance at the scrimmage shows how far men's basketball has fallen. Attendance used to be around 7000, but this year it was just 2500.

Big news is that Chester Frazier cut his hair. Any chance he can give Ron Guenther a new 'do?

I can already picture it........

Dear Mr. Nadel:

You are a fucking idiot. You are forbidden from any access to press row. I will also write Gatehouse and ask that they stick your "hack" license up your ass. If you ever show up at Assembly Hall I will rip your throat out.

Best Wishes,

Ron Guenther aka "Coach"

Here's reality for you and Nadel. The Illini will not be good this year. Highly rated recruits are verbally committed. Assuming they sign and are actually good players (never a certainty), then the program is "fixed". If not Weber will indeed be fired. No big mystery here.

Rehashing how we got to this point doesn't do anything to change the reality. Firing Weber after a bad year this year won't happen and even if it did, you would very likely lose many/most/all of the committed recruits and start another long rebuilding process. Not sure why that would be such an attractive option to you if you were an Illini fan.

Please don't try to bring reality and logic to this blog. This only serves as a place for the irrational rantings of a drunken idiot.
