Fighting Illini Football=the Band-Aid Way To Solve Problems!

Anyone remember 2003? Team was 1-11, beyond bad. Lord Guenther recommends to Ron Turner that he can Defensive Coordinator Mike Cassity. Turner does that, keeps his job, we go 3-8 the next year and Guenther finally pulls the plug.

Now? Guenther has Ron Zook sack Mike Woodford, the special teams coach (about time!) but he sacks offensive coordinator Mike Schultz, WR coach Jim Pry, and QB coach Beathard.

BOGGLE! The offense actually improved as the season went on, but the defense was bad for most of the year....and those coaches are staying! Dan Disch, the high school "ball coach" and Zook's buddy, keeps his job? Why?

UI football, the band-aid approach! All we need now is Coach Guenther getting a contract extension, and more games in Detroit!

This may be the all time low in Illinois football history!! Guenther will mess up the next hire so I guess we just bend over and take it some more. The "football guy" is truly the Barney Fife of college AD's.

Sad day for Illinois football as the 'tard lives to "coach" another day. Looks like Guenther decided to take the day off and mailed this effort in.

With all the anonymous postings, would you please clear up a few things:
1. Who is from Hudson, Ohio?
2. Who is from Joliet?
3. Who is an inept lawyer?
4. Who is a "successful AD"?
