When Do NIT Tickets Go On Sale?

Remember when Fighting Illini basketball was a national power? Bruce Weber inherited a Porsche and has turned it into a Yugo. Tonight, a guy (Hart) that wasn't even in the scorebook cost Purdue a technical foul. He then lit up Illinois for a career high! He was averaging 1 point per game! He had played 8 minutes ALL SEASON! Purdue came into Champaign with a three game losing streak and Illinois rolled over like a dog in the second half, missing too many free throws to count.

Maybe the dope from Hudson, Ohio will defend Bruce Weber. Will anyone else? Please fire this clown Bruce Weber, that other clown Ron Zook and that chief clown Ron Guenther!

He has had no success with his own players. Bruce is however one of the best coaches in the conference at making faces like a 6 year old.

I've slowly become convinced that Bruce just does not know how to put a team together.

I was trying to figure out if this was a sincere post in regard to Weber's performance. My suspicion is that the poster is just trying to be sarcastic. If so, the only thing they succeeding in doing was making themselves look incredibly stupid. Which fits in well here.

I thought that frg's definition of athletic success is getting to the post season? Isn't consecutive football bowl games his stated goal OR is it that the lack of those just his current beotch? Agenda based blogging?

Okay, Hudson, explain why:

1. From '04 to '06 we used 4 of our 7 scholarships given on large, slow power forwards with poor ball-handling and passing skills.
2. In '07-'08 we had no scholarship shooting guards.
3. In '09-'10 we have no one who can defend large bodies on the post.
4. In '09-'10 we have no backup point guard.
5. In '07-'08 we gave scholarships to 5 PF (of 7 scholarships total) who are thin and can't play "big."
6. In '09-'10 we gave 5 scholarships (of 7) to wing players who can't play the point.

Class balance and putting a team on the floor where the members complement each other is a must. Weber has consistently ignored the long-term needs of the team and left Illinois with glaring holes that cost us. It prevents relying on walk-ons and playing people out of position, which is what we've had to do for the last three seasons.

NCAA runner-up with all Bill Self recruits to not making the postseason in 3 years with your own recruits... That's how you run a program!

Make some subjective conclusions about players and then attempt to "objectively" quantify those conclusions. Makes it look like objective information to the uninformed....meaning you.

The intelligent fans are not so easily fooled.
