Of Bowl Tickets & Bad Football Officials

Hey, Illinois beat the #1 team, Ohio State, in their stadium! Illinois should be able to play in a New Year's Day Bowl game, assuming they beat Northwestern (who has beaten Illinois 4 straight times).

My concern is whether the DIA fouls up distributing bowl tickets (admittedly, the DIA is not used to distributing bowl tickets under the Football Guy, 72-109-2.). Recall the Sugar Bowl: the buffoons at the DIA let LSU fans buy tickets in the Illinois section. When Illinois decided that wasn't a good idea, the LSU fans sued and won.

Meantime, remember the awful officiating that cost Illinois a chance to beat Michigan in 2000? Why didn't Ron Guenther publicly criticize the officials? The Oregon State AD has a pair.
