Well no kidding Ron, the economy is struggling. If you had any foresight, you would have raised the money to build a new arena back in 2002 or 2003 (or even 2005) when men's basketball was still good.
My prediction: UI goes the cheap route, renovates Assembly Hall, puts the team on the road for a season and the renovated Assembly Hall looks like garbage.

Official attendance: 12,865.
That's the smallest crowd to see a UI game since 1945, when 9,962 showed up at Memorial Stadium for a game against Pitt.
